As the Pandemic (hopefully) winds down, there are many jobs going unfilled. The wine industry is no exception. People want to go into the wine industry because the product you are making or selling is fun. Others want the opportunity to live in wine country and enjoy the lifestyle.
Whatever your reason might be now is a great time to be looking. Jobs won't always be this plentiful, but I expect the wine industry will be on a hiring spree at least through next spring.
Not all jobs require you to relocate. Not all jobs are sales-related. But the majority will be this way -- either marketing or direct sales at a winery. If you are looking to relocate to California, where most jobs are located, remember the cost of living is probably higher than where you are coming from.
