The weird, the unusual, the what the hell were they thinking in commercial entities. Most are in Napa. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions.
Kelly's Filling Station & Wine Shop, Yountville
In the middle of Napa Valley get gas, a latte, today's pizza special, and a fancy Napa cabernet.

Raymond Vineyards, St. Helena
Yes, the cabs are great, but the owner (Jean-Charles Boisset) is a little flamboyant and so is his decorating.

Sonoma Napa Auto Parts, Sonoma
Sonoma Napa?
Well, if this isn't confusing I don't know what is |
Sottomarino Winery, Treasure Island, San Francisco
First off, it's no place for a winery. In San Francisco Bay it's a man-made island that served as a naval training base during WWII. Yep, there's attempts at redevelopment while performing oil spill cleanups and getting rid of military contaminants.

Strange Family Vineyards, Lompoc
I get using your given surname even if you're a dentist and with a last name of Payne. They folks could have used anything else. I checked out a picture on their website and they look mostly normal. There's also a page to show you what's on sale. lol
Swanson Vineyards, Rutherford
Yup, it's from the same family that apparently made the family fortune in frozen TV dinners. So now you know what to pair with your turkey or salisbury steak.
Tank Garage Winery, Calistoga
A nearly 90 year old gas station converted to, what else, a wine tasting room where you can get lubed.
