AirBnB Has a Vineyard Category

The Airbnb website and app have a Vineyard category to go along with Lakefront, Tiny Homes, Tree Houses, and all the rest. There are vineyards and wineries that offer guest housing, so this makes sense they've made this a separate search.

Many of these are in or next to a vineyard, or perhaps sitting next to a working winery. Browsing through the listings, I see others that might honestly be called wine country houses, but not vineyard lodging. Their description says "walking distance to a winery" or "near such-and-such winery."

Some do give you vineyard views and are pretty spectacular homes. Many are "normal" homes, and I don't see any vineyard in the photos. They are often in the small towns of Sonoma or Glen Ellen or some other, where there likely are vineyards or a tasting room within walking distance.

Many people, I expect, want a place with a vineyard view, so choose wisely.

This one in Sonoma lists for only $108,
has the vineyards, and official greeters!
