Luther Burbank Home & Gardens

A registered national historic site, Luther Burbank was a pioneer in agricultural science. He lived, worked, and became world-famous for his plant breeding in Santa Rosa. He introduced hundreds of new plants, from fruits to flowers. You can walk through the gardens or take a tour of his home and garden for a fee.

Charles M. Schulz Museum

It's Peanuts and the gang in a museum of all things Snoopy. Santa Rosa loved Charles Schulz. Don't leave without visiting the gift shop. Entry fee required.

Railroad Square

A piece of the old downtown separated from the commercial district by US 101 and a hundred years. Antique shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, and a historic hotel (pictured above), are part of what you'll find.

A privately run African wildlife zoo offering excursions and overnight accommodations. During the 2017 Tubbs Fire, while everyone else on the 400 acre property evacuated, the 77-year-old owner stayed to save his 1,000 animals. Entry fee required.

Pacific Coast Air Museum

Jack London State Park

Author Jack London and his wife Charmian spent the last years of his life living on this property and building his dream house near the town of Glen Ellen. He passed in 1916, she in 1955. Their ashes are buried on the property next to earlier pioneers. The vineyards you see from the property are farmed by descendants of Jack London. Day use fee.
