What does the Napa and Sonoma real estate market for wineries and vineyards look like now, in mid-2024? Here's a little info from Vintroux, real estate agents for wineries and vineyards.
Their conclusion is, sellers are not finding buyers. We are in a downturn in this real estate market.
Vineyards for sale, some with homes on the property, some not. In Napa, there are 36 properties on the market, in Sonoma County, there are 58. Over the previous 12 months, 11 sold in Napa, 15 in Sonoma.
Wineries for sale. There are 4 in Napa, 7 in Sonoma. In the past 12 months, 2 sold in Napa, 1 in Sonoma.
This doesn't include any private sales.

Note: Speaking of real estate available, Vintage Wine Estates in Santa Rosa has filed for bankruptcy. They own several wineries and some labels. Expect to see many of their holdings on the market.
