- First post was on Dec 27, 2008 and titled "Oh no! Not another wine blog!"
- There are over 1100 posts and, no, I don't know how I keep coming up with semi-fresh ideas though a lot comes from reading wine news sites. Also, much comes from personal experience of almost four decades of being in Sonoma County and enjoying its wine plus many years of full- or part-time work in the wine biz.
- The blog has about 350,000 page reads. Not sure how legit that is as the vast majority is from the U.S. as expected, but second with about 31,000 is Russia. Hmmm. France is third. Though Google's tools say 350,000 page reads, my counter on the page says almost 440,000 page views. Whatever
- Two-thirds is via Chrome browser; half are using Macintosh.
- The posts with the highest page views are "What time of year should you visit the wine country" and "Best Sonoma/Napa wineries for taking pictures," both from 2011.
Views of a local who has been in the hospitality side of the wine biz full- or part-time for about three decades. Maybe more importantly, an avid consumer of the local wines for over 40 years. Mostly general comments on the California wine business because that's what I know.

Maybe nobody cares but me :) unless you also happen to have a social media presence or are a serious data nerd, but from Google's analytical tools here are a few stats on this blog:
