Sonoma County Wine Shipments

The numbers for direct-to-consumer (DTC) shipping from Sonoma County's tasting rooms show strong sales. Overall wine shipments are flat in the U.S., but Sonoma County's are up 12% from last year.

This graph shows the average bottle price. Yes, Pinot Noir is the star.

Both Napa Valley and Sonoma County shipped 1.3 million cases of wine over the past 12 months, but Napa's is valued much higher as the average bottle price from Napa was about $64 vs. $29.66 from Sonoma.
