Sonoma - Parade and festival during the day; fireworks at night. Free

What to attend? It might depend on where you are in the county, but here's some help deciding:
Best daytime events: Sonoma
Best free fireworks: Petaluma or Sonoma
Best bang-for-the-buck fireworks show: Santa Rosa
Best for kids: Windsor
Best small town feel: Kenwood or Headsburg
Most spectacular: Green Music Center in Rohnert Park
Warmest: Cloverdale (the forecast is for a cool evening in most of the county)

The wineries: Many will be closed on the fourth, others will close early.
