Visiting Sonoma - Wine Tasting With a View

Sip and take in the view. I'm sure I've missed a few as I haven't (yet) been to every winery in the county. Check for hours and if appointments are required before going.

Foley Sonoma, Geyserville
Tasting room overlooks northern Alexander Valley vineyards.

Gary Farrell, Healdsburg
Sits on a hilltop in the Russian River Valley.

Gloria Ferrer, Sonoma
In nice weather you can sit outside on the Vista Terrace sipping sparkling wine.

Gustafson, Geyserville
It's a long drive to their tasting room siting on a hill looking over Dry Creek Valley. Note they have a tasting room in Healdsburg, also. That one doesn't have a view, but is a lot easier to get to.

Hanna, Healdsburg
The tasting room is on a knoll with nice views of Alexander Valley. Note they also have a tasting room west of Santa Rosa without the views.

Iron Horse, Sebastopol
Rustic, outdoor tasting overlooking vineyards.

MacRostie, Healdsburg
New, modern, four patios, lots of vineyard views.

Sbragia, Geyserville
Indoor and outdoor areas looking down Dry Creek Valley.

Sonoma-Cutrer, Windsor
Overlooking their croquet court. Not as dramatic as the views at some other wineries, but pleasant and relaxing.
