Another Fermented Beverage for Sonoma County

And this one is non-alcoholic! It appears Sonoma County won't be known just for wine, beer, cider (and probably cannabis).

As per capita consumption of corn syrup-laden soda falls alternatives are popping up. The market is growing rapidly for drinks like kombucha, a fermented tea that's usually slightly bubbly and slightly sweetened. There are touted health benefits as it's often called a probiotic drink, but these have not been proven. There have been health problems with people making their own kombucha. So read up before you make this a regular habit or DIY.

The biggest operation in the county is Revive Kombucha and they are expanding. Santa Rosa even has a Kombucha Bar.
